Guitarist, Composer

Gady started his studies at "Contemporary Music College" of Odessa, and after he moved to Israel he graduated the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel-Aviv University as a classical guitar player, and Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music - an affiliate of Berkley School of Music in Boston - as a jazz player. Today He works as a music teacher in Raanana Music Center and in The Democratic School of Hadera.

On November 2004 Gady and Avi  Mazor established together the band "Emillia's Time" with Michal Shapira as the vocal leader. They won the 2007 scholarship of the Israeli Ministry of Culture, and produced the first album of the band – "Sa Oti Barua'ah".
From the album's review: ".….. to have respect for an ensemble like "Emilia's Time", a young band that is not afraid to produce an entire album of vintage, romantic jazz with modern elements, paying no attention to the average ear and contemporary pop. Such an ensemble deserves the appropriate recognition at least from jazz fan and people who appreciate unique Israeli creativity."  (Nadav Hoffman, "Sketch Plus", January 2010)

Mashausha
Jazz, Ethnic & World music

Mashausha (pronounced "Mashawsha") is an Israeli colorful blend between jazz and a variety of ethnic influences – Jewish, Arab, Gypsy, Balkan and Indian. The music is all original, composed by Gady Tsikman (Guitars) and Avi Mazor (Piano), and as in other jazz albums, recorded live at the studio, and the pieces are plentiful with solo's which are performed by the musicians. Members of the ensemble, as well as the music itself, succeed to present Israel’s variance and contradictions in culture.
